Cats, Last night of its first life - 11th May, 2002

During the afternoon, Cats came down from the theatre to paint faces. I love this freestyle take on Jellylorum, shame Jemima's wig was a little on the small side! It has been suggested these ladies were not cast at all, but dressers/theatre staff who could be spared for the job.

Various original cast and creatives came out to entertain the crowd before the live relay of the last performance, including Elaine Paige, Trevor Nunn, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cameron Mackintosh, and Bonnie Langford.
