Krupp the Armaments Truck, from Sweet Bodyguard to Psychotic Robot, via Evil Milkman!
Krupp is Electra's Bodyguard. His costume carries influences of a chauffeur's uniform, plus elements deriving from his name. "Krupp" is/was an armaments company, established in Germany in the 19th century. Googling his name produces interesting results such as "Krupp Steam Trains"....
Krupp's role within the show is often disregarded, indeed he has been cut from the 2nd US and the UK tours, however he adds a sense of menace and weight to Electra's entourage which is noticably missing without him. He is the Heavy, the real physical menace of Electra. He has been played with varying degrees of sanity- in the later london show, Krupp raced with Nintendo in Heat 2, and on his crashing, Krupp's Maniacal laughter proved his heartlessness. Components aren't best known for their kindness and sympathy.
